First Look at the Hotel
Before heading to the ceremony, Julie and Marcus shared a quiet first look at their hotel. One of the most memorable parts? Their dog making an appearance for a photo right after the reveal—a really great photo!

With time built into the schedule, we made a stop at Twin Lakes Park for portraits. The natural backdrops—wooded trails, stone paths, and a small waterfall—offered a beautiful contrast to the indoor reception and gave the couple a great mix of photo styles.
Our photographer Curt worked closely with Julie and Marcus to build a custom timeline that covered everything from getting ready through family formals, ensuring we had enough time for each part of the day without feeling rushed.
Ceremony at The James Room
The ceremony took place at The James Room, with all guests seated in one open, elegant space. We provided the sound system, music, and microphones for the ceremony—so everything from the processional songs to the vows came through clearly.
Julie and Marcus chose songs that meant something to them, and the flow of the ceremony was personal and relaxed. Uplighting helped set the tone, and our team was there to document every moment.
Reception: Music, Lights & Celebration
Once the ceremony wrapped up, the space transitioned effortlessly into a full reception. As their wedding DJ, we managed the timeline, handled announcements, and built custom playlists with the couple ahead of time. Our uplighting matched the wedding colors during dinner and later synced with the music once dancing began.
The dance floor was hoping all night. While we didn’t record the full reception, we did capture two short video clips that give a feel for the energy on the floor.
